I actually think that anytime I hear Tony speak, millions of my brain cells self-destruct and I actually become dumber.

A fourteen year-old elder set this sister straight!
by Julia Orwell ini was supervising a class of 14 year olds and there were a couple of jw kids, a girl and a boy, both of whom want to go to bethel.
i told the boy i wasn't comfortable with all the changes the gb's been making over the years.
i mean, i'm the teacher, right?

Good point "a watcher", JWs are like the Nazis--get the kids young and teach them obedience to "the Father/Führer". I'll never forget how we were taught as JW kids to pray for the slaughter of billions of innocent people because that's how we were trained by WT.

Heartwarming JW Facebook Comment
by exwhyzee inthis urban legend/anecdote was on the facebook page of a jw who is a facebook friend of mine.
it's kind of long but tell us what you think....it was all i could do to stop myself from making a snarky comment.
a young couple very much wanted to have a family, but his wife could not conceive, so they decided to adopt a baby.

I think I heard a similar experience, except they had adopted a child that turned out to be a smurf and when they tried to take it to the meeting, it ran out and drove away in the car.

I'm sure he'll do a fine job scrubbing toilets at bethel. He can spend all day reminding himself how privileged he is to be living obedient to WT in the very last moments of the last days of the last centuries of this system, so very near to that kingdom that was established in 1914... wait...
Whatever you do, don't let him see this lesson from Sesame Street... aired in 1975...

Or you could respond. "I was sad when I read your letter, but I wasn't surprised. Since we've been worshipping Satan for a while now, he told us this letter would be coming today. Oh, and from what he said, you better be careful on those back stairs, I know you're looking forward to surviving to see that 50th wedding anniversary. Here's hoping you make it!"
Okay, I wouldn't actually send that either. But I think she deserves it.

Maybe send a copy of the letter back with a note saying something like, "I'm not going to be the one to tell your grown grandchildren that their grandmother refuses to see them anymore. If you wish to inform them that your obedience to WT is more important than them stopping in to visit with you before you take the final dirt-nap, tell them yourself. And have fun telling everyone at your anniversary party that you refused to allow most of your family to come because you think if a child is sexually molested, the elders should call the WT legal department instead of the police. Of course, next year is also the anniversary of 100 years from 1914, so I suppose most of your JW friends will be too busy talking about how the latest interpretation of 'generation' could mean another 50 years before the big A."
Okay, don't actually send that, but it's what she deserves to hear for being such a WT drone.

After looking at the problems of violence and poverty that are ruining the lives of innocent children, this guy goes off because some bball player says he likes dudes? The usual twist on Queen Gertrude's line from Act 3, Scene 2 of Shakespeare's Hamlet immediately comes to mind...
"The lady doth protest too much, methinks."
Any guesses as to how soon pictures show up of Broussard with a hired rentboy?
